BCS vented dressing for chest wounds

  • a round dressing with a diameter of about 16.5 cm with a handle that facilitates the separation of the adhesive dressing from the covering foil
  • advanced technology of glue (hydrogel) ensures perfect tightness in the most unfavorable conditions, including on sweaty, dirty or hairy skin of the chest
  • compact, easy-to-open, waterproof packaging with dimensions of 10x15cm facilitates storage and carrying the dressing in backpacks and personal first aid kits

Innovative design with ventilation channels (with outlets outside the wound area) that have been designed to prevent airflow into the chest cavity during breathing (prevents air from being sucked in from outside), while allowing air to escape through the ventilation channels during exhalation, reducing the pressure pneumothorax.

The dressing allows for the escape of both the air in the pleural cavity, as well as blood and other fluids from the wound of the body.

The transparent structure of the dressing allows for precise application of the dressing to the wound or wound area, and then provides full control of the wound surface, and the large handle makes it easier to stick the dressing on and off the wound surface.

Battle Chest Seal meets all current TCCC and TECC guidelines for the treatment of penetrating thoracic injuries.

The dressing does not contain latex, does not cause irritation or allergies.
